In small saucepan on medium high heat, simmer milk and all of the whole spices for about 3 minutes. Before it comes to a boil, stir in the hot chocolate mix.
Simmer for a few minutes, whisking occasionally. Remove whole spices from the pot. Pour into a mug, while straining out the whole spices and serve with marshmallows or Cardamom Vanilla Whipped Cream.
Cardamom Vanilla Whipped Cream
For best results, chill mixing bowl and whisk attachments before whipping cream.
In a mixing bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, sugar, vanilla and cardamom. Whip the mixture, with a whisk attachment until you get soft peaks, a light and airy topping.
