Every movie night needs some popcorn! I created two different popcorn mixes for movie night tonight! A fun, kid-friendly Party Animals Popcorn Mix and a Spicy Cajun Garlic popcorn! Who doesn't love sweet & spicy popcorn mixes to add some flavor to your movie night??
Both of popcorn mixes are delicious though! And they're both super easy, quick and fun to create.

The Popcorn
For your popcorn, start with freshly popped popcorn. You can use the microwave bags, a popcorn popper or pop your own kernels in a pot with a little neutral oil. Any way you pop it, just make sure its freshly popped!

Party Animals Popcorn Mix
This is a super fun for the kids kinda popcorn mix! I'm sure they'll love to help out with this one too! Grab your favorite animal shaped crackers and some white chocolate. Most importantly: Do NOT forget the sprinkles! I mean they are party animals!! I also like to throw in some pretzels for a sneaky salty bite to balance out the sweetness for this mix!
So here's what I used:
- Animals Crackers
- Teddy Grahams
- Goldfish Crackers - the Grahams version, not the regular cheese ones!
- Pretzels
- White Chocolate
- Sprinkles
Lay out all of the snack crackers on a parchment lined baking sheet. Melt the white chocolate and then drizzle over all of the crackers. Immediately add the sprinkles to the mix and then wait for an hour or 2 for the chocolate to set.
Toss the chocolate drizzled snacks together with the popcorn and enjoy!

Spicy Cajun Garlic Popcorn
This is a nice and spicy popcorn mix! I love the cajun seasoning mix by itself on popcorn, but I really love it amped up with the garlic and chilli seasoning. It gives it an extra kick!
All you need is:
- Cajun seasoning: I love Old Bay seasoning!
- Garlic powder
- Chili Powder

Once the popcorn is popped, heat up some (unsalted) butter in a saucepan. Add the seasoning to the butter once it is melted. Stir the seasoning into the melted butter, remove from heat and drizzle over your popcorn. That's it! (Be careful of adding salt, most seasoning blends already contain salt!)
Enjoy your next movie night with these quick and easy sweet & spicy popcorn mixes!
