There really isn't much more to say about these bowls! They are super quick to make! And so delicious! It's really just a piña colada that you eat with a spoon! I like calling it a smoothie bowl so I can eat it for breakfast and not have to wait all day for a taste of that pineapple and coconut combo!
The great thing about this piña colada smoothie bowl is that you can have it all year round! I feel like piña coladas are usually reserved for summer vacations or get togethers. But smoothie bowls we eat for breakfast every day!

Ingredients
- Frozen pineapple chunks - I like to keep some in the freezer for quick smoothies. This one is a great option.
- Frozen banana
- Coconut milk - make sure to get the unsweetened variety. I like this one. Also shake the can before opening to make sure the fats and liquids are mixed together
That's it! The base of this smoothie bowl is so super simple and clean! It's also dairy free and vegan! And no added sugar!
Frozen fruits are best for smoothie bowls because the icy texture help to create a thicker consistency. If you're looking for a drinkable smoothie keep the ingredients and amounts the same, just change out the frozen fruits to fresh fruits. The blended consistency will be much thinner. And you can enjoy your piña colada smoothie on the go!

Ingredients
Piña colada Smoothie Bowl
- 1 banana frozen
- ¼ - ½ cup coconut milk start with less and add as needed
- 2 cups pineapple frozen chunks
Toppings
- granola
- shredded coconut
- banana sliced
- pineapple chunks
- cherries
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients for the smoothie into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour contents into a bowl.
- Top with your favorite toppings.
