How can you go wrong with a Nutella fruit tart? I mean you know this is chocolate decadence on a plate just from the name! But its not just that Nutella ganache filling that's decadent here, there is also a pretzel graham cracker crust. A nice sweet, salty, crunchy crust! And just top it with some fresh berries for show!
At this point, do you even need to go through the hassle of cooking anything. I mean, just spread some Nutella on a graham cracker and top it with some pretzel pieces and fruit! I'm done! That's my recipe!

How do you turn Nutella into a fruit tart filling?
Well all you need is 5 simple ingredients, a whisk and a saucepan!
- Nutella
- Heavy cream
- Corn starch
- Salt
- Vanilla extract
The heavy cream will help you get that ganache texture and the corn starch will help to thicken and set the mixture. The vanilla extract and salt just add a little extra flavor to your ganache filling.

Now let's talk about the sweet & salty pretzel crust!
I really feel like Nutella is one of those things that there is enough flavor to stand up on its own. Especially enough sweetness! So it just doesn't seem like a sweet crust or even chocolate flavored crust will do. Instead I think a little bit of salty crunch, makes a better pairing here. So I mix together pretzels with graham crackers with a little butter to make this tart crust.

This Nutella fruit tart is so easy, I'm sure this recipe is going to be on repeat from now on! You can make it in any pie pan or even small tartlet pans!

Ingredients
Nutella Ganache Filling
- ¾ cup Nutella or hazelnut spread
- 2 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ¼ teapsoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sweet & Salty Pretzel Crust
- 1 cup pretzel chopped to rough crumbs
- 3 graham crackers
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ½ cup butter melted
Toppings (optional)
- mixed berries
Instructions
Sweet & Salty Pretzel Crust
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a rectangular tart pan or a 9" pie pan with non-stick baking spray.
- In a food processor, add melted butter, graham crackers and pretzel crumbs. Blend until the mixture is the texture of sand. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes; the crust will firm up. Remove from the oven and make the filling.
Nutella Ganache Filling
- Whisk the cornstarch into ½ cup heavy cream in a bowl. Combine the remaining 1 ½ cups heavy cream, Nutella, vanilla extract and salt in a small saucepan.
- While cooking the Nutella mixture on medium heat, whisk in the cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil. Continue stirring and scraping the sides of the sauce pan with a rubber spatula. Once the mixture starts to boil, stir constantly until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Pour the nutella ganache into the crust. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. Top with fruits if using.
